Technorati Media offers payments through Technorati Media Account Credit, checks, PayPal, and wire transfer. The following is a guide that may help you decide which payment option is best for you.
Technorati Media Account Credit
If you choose this option, your earnings will be deposited into your Technorati Media Account Credit fund each month. You will be able to use these credits to purchase ads and drive traffic to your blog(s). This payment method is optimal for publishers who advertise or are looking to advertise with Technorati Media as well as publish. Technorati Media Account Credit is also advantageous in that there is no delay or fee in issuing your payment.
Checks
If you have a US dollar bank account then a check is normally the best way to receive your payment. We mail the checks on or around the 30th day of the month and within the US they are normally received within 3 business days. Outside the US, checks may take as long as 4 weeks to be delivered.
The fees associated with cashing a dollar check can be high if you do not have a US dollar bank account. In addition, the exchange rate offered by a check cashing company may be poor.
Technorati Media charges no fees for sending a check.
PayPal
PayPal is an easy way to quickly receive your earnings. PayPal offers accounts in US dollars, Canadian dollars, British pounds, Euros, Yen, and Australian dollars.
Technorati Media does not charge for using PayPal, but PayPal charges the person receiving the money around 2.9% plus a $0.30 fee for each payment transfer. The exact amount varies depending on currency and location. See the PayPal website for more information. Technorati Media sends the payment in US dollars and if the account is in another currency then an exchange rate cost may also exist.
PayPal does not allow customers in certain countries to receive payments.
Wire Transfer
Wire transfers can be made to bank accounts all over the world. Technorati Media is charged $30 for wire transfers within the USA and $40 for wire transfers to all other countries. In addition, the receiving bank will often charge a fee and if the money needs to be converted to another currency, the exchange rate used may be below the market. For more information about the cost of receiving a wire transfer, contact your bank.

Discounts
Technorati Engage recommends offering a discount for purchases that extend for a length of time i.e. 10 weeks. Many of our publishers give two free days a week. This attracts advertisers and may result in larger purchases.
